WINDOWS WORKSHOP
SARATOGA SPRINGS, NY: The Saratoga Springs Preservation Foundation presents “Restoring Your Historic Windows” by Matt Chinian, a skilled craftsman with experience in restoring and converting historic buildings. Chinian, who has specialized in windows for the last seven years, will hold a Windows Workshop on Saturday, June 12th from 9:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. in the parking lot of 112 Spring Street. Chinian will discuss the basics in maintaining, repairing, and restoring residential windows. In addition, he will look at freeing and removal of sash in different types of windows, different types of balances, and parting strips, stops and weather-stripping. Chinian will answer specific questions, so audience members should feel free to bring notes and/or photos. Reservations are encouraged.
