Celebrate Art & Preserve History!
This one-night-only event features original art by local artists inspired by the history, people, landscape,
preservation and spirit of Saratoga Springs. Sale and reception held at the Canfield Casino in historic Congress Park with
hors d’oeuvres, drinks, and live music by Vista Loopy. Judges for the show are Ian Berry, Dayton Director of
The Frances Young Tang Teaching Museum and Art Gallery and Kathy Greenwood, Director of the Art & Culture
Program at Albany International Airport. The TRASK Art Show & Sale benefits restoration projects, such as
the Spirit of Life, and efforts to preserve Saratoga Springs.
Thank You To Our Artists, Judges, Volunteers, Honorary Committee & Sponsors!
The 2016 TRASK Art Show & Sale on September 29, 2016 would not have been possible without the artists who
participated and generously donated portions of their sales to the Foundation!
We thank our wonderful judges, Ian Berry and Kathy Greenwood, for their time and judging expertise.
Congratulations to artist Matt Chinian for being awarded Best in Show for his oil painting #599 Juniper Swamp.
And to the Honorable Mention winners, Robert Whiting, My Eye on the Pallet,
Chris O’Leary, Ballerina in Green, and Dave Papa, Untitled.
Our incredible volunteers make our events! We would not be as successful without their hard work and support.
We offer all of our volunteers a special thank you!
We also thank our wonderful 2016 TRASK Sponsors and Honorary Committee.
Without their generosity TRASK would not have been possible!
